How to Set It Up

Setting up a custom domain requires two main steps: configuring your DNS settings and updating your Moin.Zone dashboard.

Step 1: Configure Your DNS

Log in to your domain registrar (where you bought your domain, e.g., GoDaddy, Namecheap) and find the DNS settings.

1. Create a CNAME Record.
2. Host/Name: @ (or www if you want to use the www subdomain).
3. Value/Target: moin.zone
4. TTL: Default or 1 hour.

Note: DNS changes can take up to 48 hours to propagate around the world, although it often happens much faster.

Step 2: Update Your Dashboard

Once your DNS is configured:

1. Go to your Moin.Zone Dashboard.
2. Navigate to the Settings tab.
3. Scroll down to the Custom Domain section.
4. Enter your full domain name (e.g., www.yourname.com).
5. Click Save.

And that’s it! Your profile will now be accessible via your own custom domain.

Troubleshooting

• Not working yet? Give it some time. DNS propagation is not instant.
